--[ AvengerCon Code of Conduct

All attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at our event are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organizers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

----[ The Quick Version

Our event is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media.

Event participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event at the discretion of the event organizers. The privacy wishes of attendees must be respected, and no content, to include recordings, presentation materials, or messages from fellow attendees, should be shared without explicit permission from the attendees involved (e.g. the presenter or author of messages).

----[ The Less Quick Version

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

Sponsors are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. In particular, sponsors should not use sexualized images, activities, or other material. Presenters and volunteers should not use sexualized clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise create a sexualized environment.

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event.

Please note that not all presenters and volunteers have chosen to have their names and presentations publicly shared beyond the attendees of AvengerCon. Please be respectful of their wishes by receiving explicit consent to share or distribute any information about presentations and interactions at AvengerCon.

And remember, AvengerCon is a completely unclassified event. There are select and approved attendees from outside of the U.S. Government as well as invited news media. Please maintain an appropriate operational security posture that is appropriate for interactions in unclassified environments with visibility to individuals outside of the U.S. Government. All members of the media can be identified by the `media` role in our Discord server, for the awareness of our participants.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of conference staff immediately. Event staff can be identified in the event Discord server with the role of 'admin'. Event staff can also be reached by writing a message in the Discord channel '#admin-helpdesk'.
